A Parliamentary delegation from the Maldives led by the Speaker of Maldives People's Majlis Abdul Raheem Abdulla visited both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to witness the proceedings of Parliament.
Singh also took a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that the governors were buying time which was against the people of Manipur and disrespected their mandate.
Addressing the House, Birla said that previously, the translation services were available in 10 languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu, in addition to Hindi and English.
The delegation will also visit the Parliament House complex. Afterwards, the Maldives Parliamentary Delegation will have bilateral talks with the Lok Sabha Speaker.

Following the resignation of Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Trinamool Congress MP Kirti Azad hit out at the BJP and said that the party would have to answer for the atrocities that have happened in Manipur.
