Amid the polling for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, minister and national president of Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) Santosh Kumar Suman expressed confidence in the NDA's victory.

"Young people feel that if the government changes, their future will change. People are fed up with the government of the last 20 years, and there's a sense of unease about how to change it, form a new government and give the opposition a chance," Anwar told ANI.
He further questioned Shah's accountability over the incident, noting that he had not resigned following the incident. Yadav noted that none of the Indian neighbours are with the country, stressing that the government only spreads hatred and division.
