RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan CM candidate Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday sharply criticised the state government, calling Bihar the poorest in India with the lowest per capita income.
The BJP leader said, "PM Modi has made our country safe. During the UPA government, Pakistan attacked every day. Driven by the greed for vote bank, Sonia, Manmohan, and Lalu governments remained silent."
The BJP leader said, "The opposition has become issue-less. Now, the opposition has nothing left but to spread rumours, make false promises, and somehow mislead the people and voters of Bihar. They are dreaming of coming to power, but the voters of Bihar have made up their minds."
Bihar will go to the polls in two phases on November 6 and 11, while by-elections for eight assembly constituencies across seven states and Union Territories will take place on November 11.
