"Yesterday was a historic day. We welcome the SC's decision. Not just Rahul Gandhi but all the opposition leaders are being harassed in one way or the other. But the one who fights wins (Jo ladega, wo jitega)...," Bihar Deputy CM said while talking to the reporters.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Tejaswi Yadav, on Wednesday hit out at the opposition in the state, saying that they are not interested in talking about development.
Ahead of the Opposition parties' meeting in Patna on June 23, Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said on Thursday that the 2024 Lok Sabha election will be fought on people's issues not on the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Nobody can deny the fact that there are so many leaders in opposition who're much more experienced than PM Modi. Everybody will put forward their opinion in the meeting," Bihar Deputy CM told ANI on Thursday.
BJP's Bihar president Samrat Chaudhary on Wednesday said Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting the state and will address a public rally in Munger on June 29.
"I am happy to donate blood on this occasion. It is a noble cause and I urge everyone who is eligible to donate blood to do so. It can save lives and help those who are suffering from various diseases. It is also a way of expressing compassion for humanity," Tejashwi said.
"It is not appropriate for a responsible person like Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav to give such a statement, hence strict action has been demanded against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav," the petitioner in its application said.
While talking to ANI, Tejashwi Yadav said, "I have no sympathies for criminals. There are laws and Constitution to eliminate crime. Even the assassins of a PM were made to undergo trial and they were punished."
