Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a big claim on Friday and said that BJP will be wiped out from Bihar in the 2024 Lok Sabha election and as well as in Bihar Assembly Election scheduled for 2025.
BJP workers on Friday staged a protest outside the Bihar Legislative Assembly and observed 'black day' to protest against the death of Vijay Singh, the party's general secretary in Jehanabad district, allegedly due to the lathi charge by the police the day before.
"BJP workers were protesting peacefully. BJP's General Secretary of Jehanabad district Vijay Singh was killed. Bihar is suffering because of your 'Gundagardi'. The people of Bihar will not forget this and will not forgive you," Anurag Thakur said.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Tejaswi Yadav, on Wednesday hit out at the opposition in the state, saying that they are not interested in talking about development.
Focusing on upcoming Lok Sabha polls and the 2025 Bihar assembly polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday made a major organisational change in the state.
Claiming that the JD(U)-RJD deal rumour has created a turmoil within the party, Khuswaha said "Making Tejashwi CM face will lead to the downfall of the party," he added.
