Amid speculations around the national executive meeting of the Janata Dal (United) in the national capital, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday said that the Friday meeting is part of the party's tradition and it takes place once in a year.
The Cabinet also gave its approval on Wednesday for the construction of a new 4.56-kilometer-long, six-lane bridge over the Ganga connecting Digha and Sonepur in Bihar.
As per the government, the major impact of the project includes faster commute and better connectivity between the north and south ports of Bihar and will promote the socio-economic growth of the entire region.
