Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth exuded confidence that the National Democratic Alliance will form the government with a decisive win in the Bihar assembly elections, the results of which will be declared on Friday.
Reacting to the FIR lodged against RJD MLC Sunil Kumar Singh, Union Minister and LJP-Ramvilas President Chirag Paswan said the Mahagathbandhan was "unable to digest" its looming defeat and was issuing provocative statements out of frustration.
Reacting to RJD MLC Sunil Kumar Singh's remarks ahead of counting day, BJP leader Ajay Alok said the people of Bihar "don't like bhediyas" and warned that anyone trying to provoke the public would face police action.
"First of all, action should be taken against those who make such statements... If you (RJD) people have been rejected since 2005, then it's because of your way of working. Whatever the public mandate may be, victory or loss, it should be accepted with humility," Chaudhary said to ANI.
On Sunil Singh's remarks, Jaiswal said, "Those who make derogatory remarks or attempt to mislead the public will not be spared by the people's judgment. Bihar is a state governed by law and order, and any individual or group who issues provocative statements will face appropriate action..
