Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday held a meeting with all party leaders after the Lower House was adjourned for the fourth straight day in the ongoing Monsoon Session, amid uproar in the Opposition benches over the Manipur situation.
Amid the din from the Opposition benches on the demand for discussion on the Manipur violence, Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Friday assured all members in the Lok Sabha that the Centre was ready and willing to discuss all issues with regard to law and order in the Northeast state.
The circular stated, "Miscellaneous fresh matters which are verified on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday shall be automatically listed on the following Monday. Miscellaneous matters which are verified on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday shall be automatically listed on the following Friday."
