Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas near Chitrakote waterfall at the Indravati River in Bastar division.
Members said that the verdict, which B. Sudhershan Reddy co-authored with Justice SS Nijjar, pushed the Bastar region into a dark era, resulting in an increase in the incidents of Naxal violence.

"In the Bijapur area of South-West Bastar, four uniformed Naxals have been neutralised. Rifles like INSAS and SLR have also been recovered from them...I heartily congratulate the jawans," Dy CM Sharma said while speaking to ANI.
"A huge quantity of weapons, including AK-47 rifles and SLR rifles, have been recovered so far from the spot. Search operation is underway," said Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Bastar range of Chhattisgarh, Sundarraj.
A youth from naxal-affected Bijapur visited Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly in Raipur in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma on Thursday.
