A Bangladeshi national, identified as Ajijul Rehman, was arrested near Dadar station on Thursday after receiving information that he was traveling to Mumbai from Pune and had previously lived in Nagpur.
The police in Mumbai have arrested 17 Bangladeshi nationals for living illegally in India after they failed to provide proof of Indian citizenship. The arrests were made by Shivajinagar and RCF police, who are now conducting further investigations.
