US President Joe Biden, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday shared a candid moment as they took a selfie at the venue of the G20 Summit in New Delhi.
The summit is being attended by more than 30 heads of state and top officials from the European Union and invited guest countries and 14 heads of international organisations.
Bangladesh President said, “Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina sheltered 1.2 million forcibly displaced people from Myanmar on humanitarian grounds. Even in the 7th year of the crisis, there is no solution in sight where Bangladesh is pushed to the limits.”
French President Emmanuel Macron will travel to Delhi to participate in the G20 Summit taking place under India's presidency on September 9-10, and will then travel to Bangladesh for a bilateral visit, the President's office said in a statement.
