Star India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant opened up on the upcoming Test and T20I series against Bangladesh and said that they aim to play with the same intensity.
"History shows that while these tendencies grow larger and eventually reach India, they decline here as we perform their last rites. This is possible because we possess the knowledge to tame them," Bhagwat said.
Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto showered praise on Mehidy Hasan Miraz's performance in the second Test match against Pakistan and said that it was "brilliant".
Former Pakistan batter Ahmad Shahzad criticized the team as unfit for Test cricket after their humiliating home series loss to Bangladesh. Already struggling in recent months, Pakistan reached a new low by losing both Tests to the lower-ranked Bangladesh team in Rawalpindi.
Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz was named the man of the tournament, after their dominant performance against Pakistan and expressed his happiness at receiving the award.
