The government has taken note of the dissemination of misleading information on social media and by certain news outlets regarding a tragic killing that occurred on Wednesday night in the Pangsha Police Station area of Rajbari, Bangladesh interim government said in a statement on Thursday.

The protest which started from the premises of the Janaki temple in ancient city of Janakpur chanted slogans demanding justice for Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das killed in Bangladesh.
The incident took place on Wednesday night at Hosendanga village of Kalimohor Union in Rajbari's Pangsha upazila, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Pangsha Circle) Debrata Sarkar told reporters on Thursday.
