BJP state chief Sukanta Majumdar alleged "TMC hoologanism crossed all limits" and that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee along with the Chief Electoral Officer of the state were "responsible" for murders.
"We would like to tell the people of Bengal that your fund has been stopped by the BJP intentionally. Sukanta Majumdar and Suvendu Adhikari said the central government sends funds; I challenge them to come and discuss this topic," said TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee.
"I would rather request the Central government that it is the need of the hour that we should take cognizance of the 'intellect' that the Governor of West Bengal has and immediately send him to Manipur and states like Madhya Pradesh," Abhishek Banerjee advised.
