Pakistan's Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) officials defused an explosive device found in a suspicious bag near Adiala Jail, The News International reported.
Activist Qambar Malik Baloch said thousands of people have become victims of the "kill and dump policy" of the Pakistani state for expressing dissent, while the whereabouts of many others remain unknown.
During the operation, "Intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists" and six terrorists were killed, the ISPR said. It added that a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was also recovered.
At least five people, including four labourers and a cop, were killed in a terror attack on a police station in the Nasirabad area of Balochistan's Turbat, reported Geo News.
They highlighted the severe situation of atrocities and stated that the recent discovery of over 500 mutilated dead bodies at Nishtar Hospital University in Multan has further deepened the crisis.

Balochistan's Interim Minister for Information Jan Achakzai has said that not only Afghans but all undocumented foreigners will be evicted from Pakistan before November 1, Dawn reported.
The aim was to draw the attention of UN bodies and member states to the severe human rights violations perpetrated in Balochistan by Pakistan, treating the region as a colony under its occupation.
