The Baloch Yakjahti Committee, in a letter, urged the human rights organizations and the Baloch nation to not remain silent and adopt the path of political struggle on the matter of forced disappearances in Balochistan.
Baloch human rights organisations have written to the United Nations urging for the protection of Baloch people's rights against Pakistani occupation, military operations and enforced disappearances.
The Baloch Voice Association, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons and Baloch Peoples' Congress submitted the letter in the United Nations office in Geneva.

Following the ongoing Baloch genocide and enforced disappearances of Baloch people, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders, Mary Lawlor, held a meeting with the Balochistan Human Rights Defenders, the Balochistan Post reported.
