The aim was to draw the attention of UN bodies and member states to the severe human rights violations perpetrated in Balochistan by Pakistan, treating the region as a colony under its occupation.
The event to be organised by the Baloch Voice Association in coordination with the Baloch Peoples’ Congress, MiMAN Association and Voice for Baloch Missing Persons will be held during the 54th UN Human Rights Council Session.

The protesters demanded the release of Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch and Mahil Baloch and the recovery of all the missing persons, according to Pak vernacular media outlet Intekhab Daily.
Despite the threats, harassment, false police cases, use of force and surveillance, delay in justice, and debilitating uncertainty, the women from the families of the disappeared have refused to cede space to the perpetrators and to the state apparatus trampling on their rights.
