Baloch human rights organisations have written to the United Nations urging for the protection of Baloch people's rights against Pakistani occupation, military operations and enforced disappearances.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres received a written statement submitted by the Baloch Human Rights Council (BHRC), highlighting the increasing cases of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan in recent years.
Following the ongoing Baloch genocide and enforced disappearances of Baloch people, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders, Mary Lawlor, held a meeting with the Balochistan Human Rights Defenders, the Balochistan Post reported.
