Speaking to ANI, Bajrang Punia said, "The Union minister assured us that the ongoing investigation (against Brij Bhushan) by Delhi Police will be completed by June 15. We also requested all FIRs filed against wrestlers be withdrawn. The minister agreed to this demand."
"I had a long 6-hour discussion with the wrestlers. We assured them that the probe will be completed by June 15 and a chargesheet will be submitted. The next election for WFI president will be conducted by June 30," the Union Sports minister said.

Meanwhile, Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, who have been leading the protest against the country's wrestling federation Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, have resumed their duties in the Railways.

Sakshi Malik was earlier seen at the office of the Northern Railways in the national capital, triggering speculations that she has rejoined her office.
"No this is all rumours we did not call off the protest. I came to the office to finish some pending work for a day or two and we are making our strategy on what to do next, how to continue the protest in a non-violent way" Sakshi Malik told ANI.
Several ace grapplers including Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik have been protesting against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh accusing him of sexual harassment and demanding his arrest.
On former WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh, Azad said, "When more than half a dozen girls accused him and considering the POCSO act, he should have been arrested immediately."
While addressing reporters in Ayodhya, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, "I thank media persons, people of Ayodhya, people from across the country who blessed us. Also, we have cancelled the Jan Chetna Maharally due to security reasons."
