Three persons were injured in a fourth attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in less than 48 hours on Friday in the Mamond tehsil of the Bajaur district, according to the Dawn.
Four terrorists were killed and three more were left injured during an operation by the Pakistan military in the tribal districts of Bajaur and Khyber.
Bajaur Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sattar Khan said that the blast hit the pickup van, resulting in the death of the driver on the spot and a contractor travelling in the vehicle sustained injuries.
"On 18 April 2023, Tuesday at 2 pm, there is a protest against missing persons and target killing in Khar Bazar Main Chowk, Bajaur. Looking forward to everyone's participation," Pashteen tweeted.
The protesters urged the government and district administration to take action against the accused involved in the misappropriation and unjust distribution of free flour to the people.
According to Dawn, the protesters blocked the main Peshawar-Bajaur road in front of Ghalanai grid station. They complained that the duration of power load shedding in rural areas was increased up to 23 hours per day during the past few months.
