In a letter to their members issued on Thursday, the Indian Pilots' Guild (IPG) and Indian Commercial Pilots' Association (ICPA) withdrew their stand and told their members that they are free to sign new wage contracts offered by the new Tata group management of Air India.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued a show cause notice to Go First under the relevant provisions of the Aircraft Rules, 1937, for their failure to continue the operation of the service in a safe, efficient and reliable manner on Monday.
