Communist Party of India (CPI-M) leader Sitaram Yechury on Tuesday said that the left parties have decided to protest against the US over its stance on the Israel-Hamas war when US Secretary of State and Secretary of Defence visit India for the 2+2 Ministerial dialogue.
Left parties have called for protests against US "imperialism" between November 7 and 10, when US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin would be coming to India to attend the 2+2 Ministerial dialogue with Indian Defense and External Affairs Ministers.
US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu will be travelling to India to prepare for the US-India 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue and discuss strategic coordination on multiple issues.
The dialogue will provide a platform for top-level discussions between the US and India, addressing critical bilateral and global matters, with special emphasis on developments unfolding in the Indo-Pacific region.
