Bharatiya Janata Party's ally party Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president and Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora on Tuesday said that the opposition will not be able to fight against NDA in the next year's Lok Sabha polls.
"This is a totally undemocratic attitude of the opposition. This is petty politics. I appeal to all political parties to take part in the inaugural ceremony," Bora said.

"After the Chief Minister-level meeting between Assam and Meghalaya, the regional committees have been formed to address other six disputed areas. The talks will be resumed after the assembly polls in Meghalaya," Bora said.
The day-long event was attended by Assam's agriculture and dairy minister Atul Bora, food and civil supplies, consumer affairs minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass, and minister for cooperation Nandita Gorlosa. Meenesh C Shah, Chairman, NDDB too graced the occasion as a special guest.
"The farmers have cultivated mustard on more than 5,000 bighas of land here. Apart from mustard, the local farmers have cultivated potatoes and pumpkins also. Our department has extended all support to the farmers," Atul Bora said.
The Assam government on Wednesday said in the state assembly that over 82,000 hectares of the state's land have been encroached on by its neighbouring states.
