In a decisive step to counter the anti-national agenda of the banned terror outfit Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT), the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has attached the property of an accused linked to a Tamil Nadu-based conspiracy aimed at establishing an Islamic Caliphate in India.
The property belonged to a notorious drug peddler identified as Hilal Ahmad Bhat.
The accused is involved in case FIR No. 01/2025 u/s 8/20,29 NDPS Act, 111 BNS registered in Police Station Karan Nagar.
According to an official release, the ED under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) of 2002 attached assets, including seven immovable properties, comprising around 35 acres of residential and commercial land, located in Gurugram's Sector 68, 63A, 103, 104, 92, 88B, and 95. Addition
