Police in Anantnag have taken stringent action under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act by attaching properties worth Rs 40 lakhs belonging to individuals involved in narcotics-related cases, according to a statement on Wednesday.
The action was carried out after due legal process and authorisation from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Kulgam and executed in the presence of an Executive Magistrate.
