BJP leader Ravinder Raina said the people of Jammu and Kashmir are warmly welcoming Amarnath Yatra pilgrims in a traditional manner, holding a 'Kangri' as part of the greeting.
A large number of people gathered at Lal Chowk in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday night to welcome the new year in a joyous and celebratory atmosphere.
"I am very thankful to everyone associated with this project and also thankful to TATA Motors. I hope people of Srinagar will be benefited from this service," Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha said while launching the e-bus service.
The trial run of six E-buses procured under the smart city project is undergoing in Srinagar city. The trail runs of these buses are being conducted from Lal Chowk to Nishat and return via Foreshore Road.
