The Advantage Assam 2.0 summit in Guwahati saw investment commitments and announcements worth in upwards of about Rs 5.18 lakh crore, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday, highlighting the key points of the two-day event.
Acting proactively on the development of the manufacturing ecosystem in the state, Assam will develop an end-to-end semiconductor and electronics ecosystem in the state, said Ravi Kota, Chief Secretary of Assam.
Ranjit Kumar Dass, Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development of Assam, on Wednesday said that the state has attracted investment of nearly Rs 2 lakh crores so far during the ongoing Advantage Assam 2.0, the investment summit organised by the government.
Assam CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the Khanapara venue for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit, inspecting construction and facilities. PM Modi will inaugurate the summit on February 25, and Union FM Nirmala Sitharaman will attend the valedictory.
Assam Minister Ashok Singhal hosted an Investors' Roadshow in Bengaluru on Tuesday, ahead of the showpiece Advantage Assam investment summit to be held in February.
