Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday flagged off the inaugural journey of the Pravasi Bharatiya Express, a special tourist train dedicated to the Indian diaspora, in Bhubaneswar.
The final safety inspection has commenced on the newly constructed 111 kilometres long Banihal-Katra railway section, connecting Jammu to the Kashmir valley, said Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
"A harmonious blend of traditional melodies and modern arrangements, "Mahakumbh Hai" is a heartfelt tribute to India's rich cultural heritage and the timeless significance of the Mahakumbh Mela," the Ministry stated.
