An ash cloud from Ethiopia's Hayli Gubbi volcano is expected to enter parts of western India this evening and move across several northern states, according to IndiaMetSky Weather.

The DGCA said a Volcanic Ash Advisory and an ASHTAM have already been issued by the Toulouse Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre and the Airports Authority of India, and asked operators to avoid all affected regions and altitudes.
The explosive eruption began around 8.30 am UTC on Sunday, said the Toulouse VAAC advisory. Satellite imagery later confirmed a large ash column rising between 10-15km into the atmosphere.
