Congress general secretary KC Venugopal on Sunday condemned Union Guriraj Singh over his praise of Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Nathuram Godse, saying that celebrating or glorifying the person who killed the Father of the Nation is nothing short of an "anti-national act".
Adding fuel to the ongoing controversy in Maharashtra over the social media posts regarding Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan, Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Friday dubbed Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi, as 'Sapoot' (son) of this country.
"Five new police stations will be opened to strengthen the law and order in the state. These police stations will be set up in Kajlikheda in Bhopal, one in Jaitapur Khargone district, two PS in Sidhi district and one in Dewas district," Mishra told reporters here.
