The Delhi CM on Tuesday announced that he will meditate today and not celebrate Holi in the wake of the arrests of party leaders Satyendar Jain and Manish Sisodia.
Earlier, according to a notification from the Ministry of Home Affairs published on Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu appointed both leaders as ministers in the Delhi cabinet on the advice of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, with effect from the date they are sworn in.
The jail officials told ANI said that Manish Sisodia has been kept in senior citizen's cell and is not sharing the cell with anyone at present. He is under CCTV surveillance.
The flyover will be reopened for commuters at 5 pm today after the inauguration by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Its construction work was started in June 2020.
