Imran Khan was indicted in the Toshakhana case on Wednesday, a day after he was arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust case from Islamabad High Court (IHC) premises, according to ARY News.
The police crackdown on Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders show no signs of mercy as another female PTI leader Yasmin Rashid was arrested in Lahore on Friday, Geo News reported.
The police said, "The deceased allegedly demanded sexual favours from the wife of one of the accused identified as Kavendar by offering Rs 500 in return, due to which there was a conflict between them which led to the murder."
Her arrest comes after a series of arrests of multiple other PTI leaders, including Imran Khan, Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ali Mohammad Khan, and Senator Ejaz Chaudhry.
In the audio -- posted by journalist Murtaza Shah -- a voice, suggested to be of Imran, could be heard telling Cheema to approach the top court, apparently against his arrest by the NAB, reported Dawn.
