After the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in connection with an alleged corruption case, his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari expressed her hope that Naidu should win the fight which he has been fighting for the freedom of the people of the state.
The agency further said that the government order was issued under Naidu's instructions, intending to cause wrongful loss to the public exchequer and gain to private individuals.

All the arrested persons are involved in at least five murder cases including Makhan murder cases, which took place in Nawanshahr in March 2022, besides, five cases of other heinous crimes including attempt to murder, Arms Act, carjacking and extortion.
