During Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army successfully destroyed Pakistani posts and terror camps along the Line of Control (LoC). Indian Army officials highlighted their advanced surveillance technology and vigilance in monitoring and responding to Pakistani aggression.
This comes after another Pakistani national was detained by Border Security Force (BSF) troops after he illegally crossed the border in the Gurdaspur area of Punjab, an official said on Monday.
"The pilot manoeuvred the aircraft away from any habitation on the ground before ejecting safely. An inquiry has been ordered by the IAF to ascertain the cause of the accident," IAF said.
Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Gajendra Singh Nagar acquitted the accused and said, "This court is of the opinion that the prosecution has failed to prove the allegations against the accused beyond reasonable doubt."
At a time when Pakistan is using Chinese drones to smuggle weapons and drugs into India, a top Army official has said that the force was in the process of acquiring and deploying low-level lightweight radars capable of detecting even small drones like the DJI Mavic.
"At about 11 AM today, Pak troops opened small arms fire on own post across LC in Poonch Sect. The fire was retaliated appropriately by Indian Army. No casualties on to own side," said Army officials.
In different encounters and operations, the security has been able to eliminate around 75 terrorists in different regions of the state including the Jammu region and the Kashmir valley along with the firefights that take place during infiltration attempts by terrorists on the Line of Control
