"Havaldar S Maity & Naik Parve Kishore lost their lives in the line of duty while driving a vehicle during operational duty in East Sikkim," an Indian army official said in a statement.
An Army jawan who was reported ‘missing’ from his native Kulgam district in southern Kashmir last week has been traced, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Thursday.
"Two women police constables and one SI are providing security to her. After investigation, legal action will be taken in the case. We will continue to monitor the progress in the probe in the case," said the Chairperson while talking to the media.

On his visit to the Army Base Camp in Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir, the Defence Minister reviewed the operational capabilities and security situation along the border.
Mortal remains of army jawan Debashish Baswal, who was killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch disrict on Thursday, will reach his native place in Odisha on Saturday, said a district administration official on Friday.
