Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Tuesday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party's strategy of fielding Parliamentarians in Assembly polls is a "good move".
Pointing out that previous Congress governments at the Centre could not pass the Women's Reservation Bill, Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Sunday accused the party of doing politics over the bill and questioned its intentions.
"For the Vice President (Jagdeep Dhankhar), the CM (Ashok Gehlot) said, why is he coming now? So the Vice President will come after getting permission from him?" Union Minister for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal said.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat praised the Indian Parliament for passing the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Act 2023' or the Women's Reservation Bill and called the decision helpful in making the nation “strong and inclusive”.
"BJP does not need to do drama in the name of women's reservation. If the intentions of BJP and Central Government were right then this bill could have been brought earlier," Khachariyawas said in Jaipur while talking to reporters.
Rashtriya Janata Dal member Manoj Jha taking part in the discussion on the women’s reservation Bill on Thursday on behalf of his party in the Rajya Sabha demanded that women belonging to Other Backward Classes be incorporated in the legislation.
