Former Law Minister Ashwani Kumar on Monday welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to put in abeyance its November 20 ruling that had accepted the Central Environment Ministry's definition of the Aravalli Hills and Aravalli Range.
In a self-made video, the Rajasthan Congress chief expressed optimism that the Supreme Court will deliver its judgment on the issue in January ,keeping in mind the public sentiments.
Furthermore, he urged the Haryana government to clarify its stand in the Supreme Court. He said the Aravalli Mountains are like Haryana's lungs; if they are damaged, there will be significant harm.
