The overall air quality in the national capital continued to remain in the 'very poor' category, with the overall AQI at 303 on Tuesday morning, as per SAFAR-India.
There was a slight improvement in the air quality in the national capital on Thursday, with the overall air quality index (AQI) in the 'very poor' category at 312.
According to IMD, the lowest visibility was reported on Tuesday till 5:30 am from areas Bathinda (00m), Amritsar, Ganganagar, Patiala, Delhi (Palam) and Lucknow (25m), Delhi and Purnea (50m), Ambala and Agra (200m), Gorakhpur (300m), Bareilly, Patna, Gaya and Kolkata (500m).
The air quality in the Delhi University area was recorded as 'very poor', with PM 2.5 at 333, whereas the AQI in Noida measured at 348. At Pusa, the AQI measured at 315.
Air Quality in the national capital again reached the 'very poor' category on Saturday morning with an index of '310' recorded on the Air Quality meter after relative respite to Delhiites for a few days.
