The Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital on Sunday continued to be in the 'poor category' with further deterioration as the city experienced cold wave conditions.

AQI in different areas of the national capital, like Anand Vihar, was recorded as 393, 356 in Ashok Vihar, 322 at the IGI airport road and 381 in Jahangirpuri at 7 a.m as per CPCB.
According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the overall AQI in Delhi was recorded at 281 as of 8 am as a thin layer of haze covered parts of the city this morning.
