"I feel sad about the fact that Congress tried to play politics on the demise of Dr Manmohan Singh. Will the Nehru-Gandhi family stoop so low that they play politics in the name of Dr Manmohan Singh and his death? Rahul Gandhi should apologise to the nation," said Anurag Thakur.
"He was an RBI Governor, Finance Minister, and played a key role in bringing economic reforms that reshaped India's future. He was a calm and composed person. He used to give answers often in a poetic manner in Parliament. He was a good parliamentarian too," Anurag Thakur told ANI.
"If you look at the contribution of Telugu actors in the film industry, they have put the film and Indian cinema on the global map. But some people are trying to pull them down on floor map," Anurag Thakur told ANI.

Amid the scuffle that broke out at the parliament, BJP MP Anurag Thakur on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi accusing him of disregarding the law, driven by his perceived arrogance and sense of being above the law.
