These 16 HuT members were produced before the court after their police remand was over on Friday. Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) had arrested these accused on May 9.
CM Chouhan made the remark while talking to the reporters about the recent action of Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) against members associated with the radical Islamic organisation Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT) in the state capital Bhopal on Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Karim, a resident of Chhindwara. Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) arrested him from Chhindwara itself on Tuesday (May 9) and produced before the court on Wednesday.
According to a release issued by Madhya Pradesh Police, the ATS team arrested 10 members of HuT from Bhopal and one member from Chhindwara district. The team also recovered anti-national documents, technical equipment, radical literature and other materials from the arrested members of HuT.

"The person who committed this heinous crime has been apprehended in Ratnagiri of Maharashtra. I thank the Maharashtra government, their police and RPF and the NIA who have apprehended him this quickly," Vaishnaw told ANI outside Parliament here today.
The accused, identified as Shahrukh Saifi was nabbed from Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district on Tuesday night based on a sketch released by the Kerala Police.
