Anti Narcotics cell of Mumbai police has arrested two persons and seized 570 bottles of Codeine-based cough syrup(CBCS) worth Rs 2.85 lakhs, the Mumbai police said on Thursday.

The Anti-Narcotics Cell of Worli Unit on Saturday arrested a Nigerian drug peddler from near Mumbai's Mahim Railway Station and seized methamphetamine drugs worth Rs 22 lakh from his possession, police said.
"1 kg 108 gm MD worth Rs 1.21 crore was found in the possession of the duo who came from Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh and alighted at the Kharadi bus stop with the contraband," said DCP Crime Branch Pune City Police, Amol Zende.
