Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer offered rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 134th birth anniversary by placing flowers at his portrait at a programme held at Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan on Sunday.
On the eve of Ugadi festival, Governor of Andhra Pradesh, S. Abdul Nazeer has extended his warmest wishes and said it is a festival of joy that brings with it new hope of a bright future.

Later addressing a public meeting, Governor Nazeer said that the 150-foot-tall national flag installed in Jaggaiahpet was a great tribute to Pingali Venkayya, the designer of the National Flag, who was born in the Krishna district and had given an identity to India and its people.
