Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and former minister, Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, was arrested by the police for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Minister RK Roja, officials said.
This action was taken in response to the 'Chalo Rajahmundry' call by Hyderabad IT employees, as a mark of their protest against the arrest of former Andhra CM and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu.
