"We have obtained a four-day remand of seven accused. Police had demanded their seven-day remand for questioning. The accused will be presented before the court on March 25 now," Singh told ANI.
DIG (Border Range) said, "As of now, we are recording the arrest of the seven people and bringing them here. We are recording this arrest in connection with the Ajnala matter. ...We will take them in remand and see what is to be done next."
The six accused previously arrested by the FBI have been identified as Amritpal Singh alias Amrit alias Bal, Amritpal Singh alias Cheema, Taqdeer Singh alias Romi, Sarabjit Singh Saabi, Fernando Valladares alias Franco and Gurlal Singh.
