Air India said on Tuesday that its flight from Ahmedabad to Gatwick in London has been cancelled today due to the unavailability of the aircraft, resulting from airspace restrictions and additional precautionary checks.

In a post on X, IndiGo said, "Airspace over Iran and surrounding areas, continue to be unavailable. Certain flight paths may need adjustments, leading to extended travel durations or delays."
Air India has diverted or cancelled several international flights due to Iran's airspace closure amid rising tensions. The airline is offering refunds, rescheduling, and accommodations to affected passengers and advises travellers to check flight status before departure.
In a post on X, Delhi Airport said, "Delhi airport operations are running smoothly. However, due to evolving airspace conditions over Iran, Iraq and the neighbouring region, some flight schedules have been impacted."
Naidu also commended the pilots and crew for their professionalism and presence of mind in handling the emergency situation, ensuring the safety of all passengers on board.
Naidu said the government has simply maintained the existing status. "The NOTAM has been extended. We have maintained the status quo..." he told reporters.
