A Srinagar-bound SpiceJet flight returned to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport after a false warning, the airline spokesperson said on Tuesday.
Recently, a Pakistan News outlet ARY News stated that PIA has tax debts amounting to over Rs 400 billion (USD 1.4 billion). The carrier had also recently asked for a government bailout to the tune of Rs 45 billion (USD 157 million).
Amid multiple reports of unruly behaviour by passengers onboard flights, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued an advisory to all airlines asking them to action against such behaviours during flight operations.
The temporary closure will be from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) has been issued in this regard. All operations will resume as usual from May 2, 2023, post 5:00 pm, Mumbai airport authorities said.
