The air quality in the national capital improved and was in the 'moderate' category on Sunday morning after remaining in the 'poor' category for two consecutive days.
"Delhi's overall AQI today indicates 'moderate' air quality. Fine particles (size < 2.5 micrometres) contribute 56 per cent to PM10," SAFAR said, adding that Air quality is likely to deteriorate to the 'upper end of moderate' or 'poor' for the next two days.
The AQI in the Delhi University area was 389, while in IIT Delhi area it was recorded at 382. In the Airport (T3) area, the quality of air was recorded at 387.
