According to Taiwan's MND, 22 of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the country's central, southwestern, and eastern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
Out of the 20 aircraft belonging to the People's Liberation Army (PLA), 13 crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan's northern and southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ), according to the statement released by Taiwan's MND.

In a post on X, Taiwan MND stated, "4 PLA aircraft and 6 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 2 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait. We have monitored the situation and responded accordingly."
Tensions between China and Taiwan are escalating day by day, with a surge in Chinese military aircraft and naval vessels encircling the island, fuelling fears of a potential conflict.
