Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP T Krishna Prasad on Tuesday said that he was "shocked" after AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi took oath as a member of the Lok Sabha with the words "Jai Palestine".
After AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi took oath as a member of the Lok Sabha with the words "Jai Palestine", Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Kiren Rijiju criticised Owaisi and condemned his statement.
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday said that the people of India have taught a lesson to those who were talking about '400 paar', the slogan used by the BJP in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
Owaisi said to ANI, "I cannot talk about ifs, buts, and possibilities. I had said during the elections that if there is a chance that someone else can become the PM instead of Modi, then we will support them."
